Homeopathy Treatment in Africa continued

Written by sarasavage on . Posted in News

In Kumasi with the help of a local homeopath, Sara spent 4 months setting up a central clinic and treating many patients from the city and more rural areas. The money raised not only went to securing the property for 2 years, but allowed hundreds of patients to benefit from the low cost clinic as well as employment and education for a number of Ghanaian’s who wanted to understand homeopathy on a deeper level.

Many of the patients presented with severe aches and pains brought on by very physical manual labour as well as traditional ways of carrying supplies – on the head.  Some trays would be 10kg+, over time the damage done to the women’s neck and backs was crippling. Homeopathy played a small part in pain relief for some of them.

The project has achieved many objectives and still has many more in the pipeline. For more information about this charity www.ghanahomeopathy.org.
